Our Leadership Team

Vice President, General Manager of Heatcraft (AuNZ) – Damian Mackey

Damian Mackey is the Vice President and General Manager of Heatcraft ANZ providing strategic leadership and direction for the extensive Heatcraft business across Australia and New Zealand. He is a well-accomplished executive with experience in a cross-section of functions in his career – including Operations, Logistics, Marketing, Business Development, Strategy and General Management in multi-national companies. During this tenure with Tyco Waterworks (later purchased by Pentair) Damian also spent time in the UK successfully building key commercial partnerships that drove mutual growth for both his business and customers.

Since joining the Heatcraft team in March 2017, Damian is committed to ensuring Heatcraft is the first choice HVAC&R partner within the industry.

Damian lives with his wife and four (4) children in Sydney Australia, is a keen soccer player and valiant Manchester United football fan.

Sales Director (AuNZ) – Stuart Crabb

Stuart Crabb is the Director Sales of Heatcraft ANZ and joined us in July 2017. As the leader of our Sales organisation he leads the branch network, account management and field engineering teams.

Stuart wants to be delighting our customers at all levels in his organisation. Over twenty (20) years’ experience at a GM and Senior Sales level in Technical and Fast Moving Consumer Goods industries both in Australia and Internationally, he is known for developing programs that delight the customer and build strength in retail/wholesale stores. Added value sales relationships are his focus and at Heatcraft he wants to leverage the best we have to focus on the customer experience by providing industry-leading solutions.

Stuart lives in Sydney with his wife and three (3) young children. When not wrangling his beautiful children he finds himself watching home renovation shows scouring ideas for his own projects.

Marketing Director (AuNZ) – Roger Pecnik

Roger joins Heatcraft from his most recent executive role leading marketing and business development across Australia and New Zealand for Tarkett Flooring. In past roles, Roger has held senior marketing roles in leading multi-nationals such as CSR Building Products and James Hardie.

Roger holds an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management as well as a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and Graduate Diploma in Environmental Engineering from the University of Wollongong, Australia.

Operations Director (AuNZ) – Paul Campbell

Paul joined Heatcraft Australia in 2002 and was appointed to his current position in 2008. Paul’s previous roles within the Heatcraft organisation include, General Manager Supply Chain and General Manager Strategic Procurement & Supply Chain. With qualifications in Inventory Management, Systems and Technology, Production Supervision and Advanced Materials Management, Paul’s previous industry roles included management positions in Supply Chain, Materials Handling, Purchasing and Logistics.

 

Finance Director (AuNZ) – Colleen Osborne

Colleen joined Heatcraft in April 2010 as Financial Controller and was appointed Director of Finance in June, 2015. During her time, Colleen has demonstrated solid financial acumen, assisting to elevate the accounting and financial planning areas of the business.

Prior to joining Heatcraft Colleen held senior Accounting and Finance roles, including Finance Systems Manager and Group Finance Manager with Inghams Enterprises, Australia’s largest poultry production business. 

Colleen is an accredited CPA, having attained a Bachelor of Accounting degree as well as her MBA from Charles Sturt and Deakin Universities in Australia.

Supply Chain Director (AuNZ) – Michael Carr

Michael Carr is the Director Supply Chain of Heatcraft ANZ and is instrumental in delighting our customers via best in class logistics, purchasing and distribution capabilities.  With a career spanning 20+ years at both Nestle and The Real Pet Food Company in both Australia and the UK, Michael makes impacts via understanding what customers want and shaping the supply chain function to deliver a win-win outcome.

Following Michael’s commencement with the team in May 2017, he has been spending a considerable amount of time in store’s, with suppliers and his internal team to understand how we can better meet customer expectations via improved planning, forecasting, and delivery.

Michael lives with his wife and three (3) daughters in Sydney and is a fierce competitor in his weekend soccer team when not streaming Manchester United football games.

 

 Human Resources Director (AuNZ) – Susan Milne

Susan Milne is the Director Human Resources of Heatcraft ANZ and leads the people function across our head office in Sydney and national store network in both Australia and New Zealand. Joining us in February 2017, Susan brings with her experience in leading small and large teams in complex environments working both at Nestle and Clorox prior to joining Heatcraft.

Her energy comes from building organizational effectiveness within a winning team community. Continuing to refresh and build front-line knowledge and expertise is a priority for her to enable the continued partnership with our customers.

Consistent with her passion for teamwork, Susan is an active netballer and team sport enthusiast where you will find her, her husband and two young daughters on various sporting fields whenever possible.

Our Regional Team

Commercial Manager - Brett Hedge

Brett Hedge began his HVAC&R career as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician at Kirby Refrigeration in 1996. After completing his apprenticeship he began a successful career at McAlpine Hussman progressing from Project Engineer to National Technical Manager, where together with the Business Leadership Team was responsible for technical leadership and direction of the McAlpine Hussmann Design, Installation and Field Service teams.

Brett re-joined Heatcraft in 2013. His proven sales record, technical leadership, and customer engagement skills were the catalysts for his promotion from Refrigeration Capital Equipment Category Manager to his current role as Commercial Manager AuNZ in 2016.

Regional Manager (NSW) - George Boukas

George joins Heatcraft with over 15 years’ solid management/sales management experience.  He has held senior sales, marketing, product and business management positions and has managed sizable teams, most recently at Crane Distribution Limited and Bidel Group Pty Ltd. For the vast majority of George’s background, he has worked in sales-led organisations within a technical environment. George has a strong track record in the management of a mobile sales force and has experience with CRM systems as enablers supporting account managers. George has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical).

Sales Manager (NSW) - John Paxinos

John began his career at Heatcraft in 1998. During this time he has held many positions including, Customer Service Representative, Branch Manager, Area Manager and Branch Operations Specialist. Extensive Sales Management and Operations capability saw John promoted to his current role in July 2015.

Sales Manager (NZ) - Brendan Hill

Brendan Hill joins Heatcraft with a proven track record in senior sales commercial roles, including over six years owning and running his own successful business in the area of FMCG Chilled Foods Manufacturing.  Brendan comes from similar industries, having worked across the likes of HVAC, ventilation, electronic security, construction and architectural metals, selling in both the residential and commercial markets.  Most recently Brendan was working with Locker Group and Webforge where he was the National Business Development Manager.

Regional Manager (VIC) - Howard Rock

Howard joined Heatcraft Australia as Regional Manager - Southern Region in April 2012. He has extensive experience in supply to the Building and Construction markets, with previous roles including National Sales Manager for Festool Power Tools, State Manager - Victoria for Hilti (Aust) Pty Ltd and Sales Team Manager for Dahlsens Building Centres. Howard holds a Diploma of Management and completed a Diploma of Business in 2012.

Sales Manager (SA & NT) - Steve Lockhead

Steve joined Heatcraft as a Branch Customer Service Manager, Adelaide in 2004. During his time at Heatcraft, Steve has enjoyed Sales and Regional Management roles across SA and WA. Backed by a Diploma in Business Management and Sales Management qualifications, Steve is supported by over 20 years industry experience dating back to 1988.

State Manager (WA) - Sam Miller

With his extensive Account Management background, Sam was promoted to State Manager WA in 2015. Prior to this, Sam began his employment in 2006 as a Sales Representative in QLD. He then progressed to Account Management roles in Central QLD, South East QLD, South Pacific islands and in the Northern Territory.

Sam holds Precious Metal Engineering qualifications and is a qualified High-Risk Height Access and Safety System installer.

State Manager (South QLD) - Dean Perri

Dean began his career at Heatcraft in 2004 as a Customer Service Representative and then progressed to Account Manager in 2006, Key Account Manager in 2008 and Strategic Account Manager in 2014. Dean was awarded the Heatcraft Strategic Account Manager of the Year for 2014, before being promoted to State Manager (South QLD) in July 2015.

Dean holds Mechanical Engineering qualifications from Logan Institute of TAFE and a Diploma in Business Management from TAFE QLD.

State Manager (North QLD) - Mike Hille

Mike started his career with Heatcraft in 2012 as an Account Manager and has recently been promoted to State Manager (North QLD). Mike received the Account Manager of the Year award for Excellence in Customer Engagement and Leadership in 2014.

Mike has a background in Mechanical engineering with experience in Sales, Manufacturing, and Automation with Holden where he gained experience as a supervisor leading a team to meet and exceed KPI’s while maintaining a high safety culture.
